Kim & Yuji Morisaki
OWNERS
Kim and Yuji bring years of construction experience to Glacier Monuments. Doing finish carpentry, tiling, and designing custom doors lends itself to the design and construction of signs, markers and monuments. Kim also helps create affordable homeownership at Northwest Montana Community Land Trust. When they aren’t building things, they love to see the world and visit their two sons wherever they might be!
Kalie & Nate Adoretti
OWNERS
Kalie and Nate Adoretti have owned Adoretti Masonry for over 20 years creating rock for some of the nicest homes in the Flathead Valley. Nate also worked with well-known Bigfork artist Lee Proctor creating works of arts in glass and metal. Nate brings a wealth of experience in turning a vision into a permanent thing of beauty. Kalie is also executive director at The Nurturing Center. They can often be found at their daughter’s hockey tournament or one of their son’s many activities.
Emma Thompson
Sales
The newest member of our staff, Emma is here to assist you through the process of choosing just the right monument, natural stone sign or plaque. She loves cooking and enjoying the great outdoors and always greets you with a smile.
KIM ALTENBURG
DESIGN
When Kim isn’t designing and managing logistics for Glacier Monuments, you can find her outside enjoying mountain bike riding, fishing or being at the lake. Sometimes you might find her helping her husband’s landscaping business.
Nate Braddock
Production
Nate is the man who gets the job done at Glacier Monuments. Whether it is engraving, setting and delivering granite stones or fixing the equipment we use to create the designs, you can count on Nate in a pinch! When he isn’t at the shop he is running his daughter to and from school or sports events.
Vicki Ewing
Bookkeeping
If you call Glacier Monuments, chances are the first person you will talk to will be Vicki. Our bookkeeper and the one who keeps the ship moving forward, you can depend on Vicki to assist you with anything you need. She also keeps all the plants in the building thriving!
Jim McCollum
Production
Need to know how to solve a problem? At Glacier Monuments, Jim is the go-to guy. Jim creates all of GMI’s Mountain Top monuments by hand and creates all the shape-carved flowers that adorn our stones. Jim enjoys his very large family of children and grandchildren and loves the time he spend piloting his gyro-copters!
What We Do
We work with granite from around the United States and the world as well as natural stone. The majority of what we create are headstones, but we also build neighborhood monuments, address markers, business signs, and customized backsplashes and countertops. Add a logo or favorite saying to stone and make it permanent.
We listen to our customer’s ideas and wishes and bring options, ideas, images and decades of experience in stone engraving, masonry and construction to build one of a kind monuments and signs.
